AUTHOR BIO “Ben Alderson is a collaborator in the NYT Bestselling anthology Because You Love To Hate Me. He grew up in Berkshire, England. Not only does he write he also runs a successful micro-publishing house called Oftomes. He enjoys- reading, traveling, greek food, music, and anything fantastical” QUICK INTERVIEW: Where are you from? “I am from rainy England. Currently living just outside of Oxford City. “ What is your favorite genre to write or read? “Fantasy is my favourite genre to write however I have been craving to work on a paranormal series for a longtime. Problem is.. when ever I start it I just want to jump back into fantasy.” Who/What inspired you to write the Dragori Series? “Lots of things really. I wanted to write a book where the main characters are gay – but do not have to label it, come out or be treated differently because of it. I wanted my world to be a place all readers could come and fully imagine themselves within the world. I guess that was my main inspiration.”   What was the hardest part to write in the Dragori Series? “The middle book was the hardest because of the pressure of a book being ‘boring’. I wanted the overall arc to carry on but with the characters venturing on an important quest. This was a hard story to plan.” Is there any new projects you working on? “I am currently editing the final draft of The Lost Mage before sending it to my editor at the end of this month.” Expected release: 29 May 2021 Which book, if you could pick one, did you enjoy the most to write? “The Lost Mage – only because I have been working on it for so long now. I remember coming up with the story when I was having a sleep over at my grandmothers house. Dr Rebecca Sharp did an amazing job with the third installment to the Carmel Cove series. Besotted is well- written and easy to read. There wasn’t a dull moment throughout the whole story.
