Quick Interview
Q: Where are you from?
A: “Originally I’m from New Jersey, but now I’m living in Delaware.”
Q: What is your favorite genre to write or read?
A: “New Adult Romance. I feel like that’s the one I can connect with most. Trope wise though would be Brother’s Best Friend.”
Q: Who/What inspired you to write the Haven Grace Prep series?
A: “The whole Haven Grace Prep series started when I saw the picture that’s used on The
Sinner’s cover. It just instantly created Grayson and spread like wildfire from there.”
Q: Who is your favorite character in the Haven Grace Prep Series? Why?
A: “Tessa. I put a lot of personal emotion and things that I’ve been through in that book.
It was a liberating experience.”
Q: Which book, if you could pick one, did you enjoy the most to write?
A: “Hendrix. Knowing it was going to be a surprise release and knowing how many people were constantly asking for Colby’s book, I just absolutely loved writing it.”
Q: Hendrix was a surprise release. Any reason why you kept the release a surprise?
A: “Honestly? Wow factor. I knew I wanted to release a book on my birthday, which was a lot
because The Enemy was releasing the week prior. But my team was great with supporting me and I really loved the reactions I got from it. It definitely won’t be the last surprise
release readers will get from me.”
Q: Any new projects you are working on?
A: “Right now I’m currently writing Corrupt My Mind, book one in the North Haven University
series.”
Official release date: 16 October 2020
Q: When did you write your first book?
A: “March of 2017. I had lost my mom to cancer the year before that and really went through
a rough time with it. I ended up immersing myself completely in reading just to keep my
mind off of things. One day I was complaining about something in a book to my best
friend, and she told me to write my own. The first book I wrote though is still
unpublished.”
Q: What do you think makes a great story?
A: “Personally, I think the plotlines need to be attention grabbing, but I also think the
characters need to be relatable. I always make it a point to write good side characters
because I feel like the people in the hero and heroines lives are just as important.”
Q: Did you always know that you wanted to be an author?
A: “I didn’t. My mom used to tell me all the time that I should but I always used to laugh
it off or tell her it was never going to happen. I really regret not starting sooner.”
