AUTHOR BIO
Stephanie Nichole lives in a small town with her family in New Mexico. She graduated college in 2010 with a degree in business and accounting. However, her true passion is all things book related. As a student English and Literature were her favorite subjects. Weekly library trips with her mother also helped instill her love for books. Stephanie would look forward to summer most of all, not because she was out of school but for the summer reading groups at her local library. After a friend’s encouragement she started her author journey in 2016.
Stephanie is an avid book, music and old Hollywood movie lover. When she’s not busy reading or writing she’s probably binge watching Netflix or PassionFlix.
QUICK INTERVIEW
Where are you from?
“I’m from a small town in New Mexico.”
When did you first realize you wanted to be an author?
“I think I always had a desire to write my own stories. Books have always been a huge part of my life and my imagination has always been going with stories.”
What is your favorite genre to read/write?
“I hope between New Adult Romance and Young Adult Fantasy Romance. I enjoy writing and reading both.”
Who is your favorite author and why?
“All time favorite is Edgar Allan Poe. Poe was one of the first authors I remember falling madly in love with. The way he wrote and the images he created in your head. Sometimes he’s a little dark but that’s part of his appeal.”
How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
“I’ve written 22 books, co-authored one novel with a friend, Mary Dean and been a part of two anthologies. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite. Breaking the Limits holds a special place in my heart though.”
Who/What inspired the Furiously Fast Series and how many installments can we expect?
“Furiously Fast is a spin off from my James Brothers Series. A lot of the readers asked about certain supporting characters from the James Brothers series so I decided to start a spin off series. James Brothers and Furiously Fast are both heavily inspired but the Fast and Furious Franchise. At this point in time I’m thinking eight installments but it could grow as I write.”
Is there any new release we can expect in 2021 or in the future?
“5-7 new releases coming this year if things go according to plan.”
What do you think makes a great story?
“For me, I need characters that make me feel for them. It doesn’t matter if they make me mad, sad or happy, I need them to make me feel.”
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
“Inspiration comes from all over the place for me, music, quotes, pictures…just about anything can give me inspiration.”
What advice can you give to an unpublished author?
“Follow your heart. You will have some people who will leave bad reviews or try to discourage you. Take constructive criticism but don’t let someone bully you into changing your path. Write what makes you happy.”
