Dr Rebecca Sharp did an amazing job with the fourth installment to the Carmel Cove series. Befallen is one of the best in the series. I was hooked from the start until the end.

Cambria Mariano, known as Cammie, has had the worst experience in her life and now she has to find a way to live with it. Moving back home, she thought that she will forget everything and it will just go away. She started to participate in some activities to help her get over the bad experience and then she saw her old school lover again (she broke his heart), but she is not the same girl anymore.

Bennett Covington, known as Benny, has always had his heart set on Cammie. Circumstances was the cause of her decision to break his heart. He has noted that Cammie has changed a lot since the last time he saw her. He is determined to help her heal.

I loved the story of Cammie and Benny. It was an emotional journey.

We do not always have to fight our battles alone. We sometimes need the help of others.

Befallen can be read as a stand-alone, but I would recommend that you read the series form the start. It will make the story even more clear.

It is a MUST READ.
