Guts & Glory: Walker (In the Shadows Security Book 4)

Review By:Gwen Shafer

This one was interesting from beginning to end. Twists and turns I didn’t see coming. But then again that is the type of storyline that Jeanne writes. She makes the storyline gripping and keeps you interested in what is going on. This is the fourth book in the Shadow Security series and just as good as the first three. Walker is an interesting character. He has an extremely rough side and a soft side. But the soft side you only get when he is with Ellie.
Ellie and Walker have a past. One that did not end well at all. He enlisted and left her. She ended up marrying someone else and is now in trouble and needs his help. But will he be able to help her? Ellie is mixed up in something because of her husband. She comes to Walker because of who he works for knowing that they can hopefully hide her away somewhere. But they would rather take care of the problem. So Ellie ends up staying with Walker until the problem is taken care of. Which means these two get to rehash what happened between them. But will they be able to move past what happened? I absolutely love the chemistry between Walker and Ellie. You can see that these two belong together.

This was a very interesting intense storyline with just the right amount of suspense. I love how Jeanne adds just the right amount to keep you interested until the end. Another great book to this series. Highly recommend
