This is the first book that I have read from this author. I was drawn in because it was a mystery type genre. I can say this was an interesting book but I would have to say that you probably should read the first 6 before reading this one as it will help know more about the characters. There is a little background that I was missing about one of the detectives in this storyline.
It was a gripping hooked me from the beginning storyline. I was a little confused with what was going on with the storyline but that is what made this so interesting. It will draw you in with the mystery and have you turning the page to see what is going to happen next. This does start off a little upsetting as it does start off with a death but that is just the beginning of this amazing mystery storyline. Amazingly written, great storyline, amazing characters. I was turning the pages as quickly as I could so I could figure out who did what. Takes you on a journey that will have you wanting more. After reading this one I will so be reading the rest in this series. Highly recommend.
