Book Review

The Rebel (Haven Grace Prep #3)

Review By:Hendrik van den Bergh

Kelsey Clayton did an amazing work with the third installment to the Haven Grace Prep Series. The fact that we are still part of all the characters and the way the story continues from the previous 2 books makes it an incredible series to read.

In The Rebel we get to know Tessa Callahan, Delaney’s twin sister, and Asher Hawthorne, a new character in town. A one-night stand turned out to be Tessa’s new English Teacher. She had to stay behind to repeat her senior year. Delaney is not around anymore to keep her out of trouble or to protect her.

Asher didn’t expect to see Tessa again and certainly not at one of his classes. He has never been in such a difficult situation.

Trouble seems to follow Tessa and she doesn’t know why she is always the one with such bad luck. The man she had the best night with turned out to be her new teacher.

It is a well-written book. Again, I was hooked from the first chapter. There wasn’t one dull moment.

I would say that you can read The Rebel as a standalone, but wouldn’t recommend it. The relationship Tessa has with the other characters in the first two books and the scenarios, played a big role in the third installment.

Kelsey Clayton is an amazing author and I will definitely recommend her to anyone that loves Bully Romance or High School Romance. If you love a teacher and student romance, this is the book for you.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series. The story gets better and better with each installment.

It is a MUST READ.
