Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1)

Review By:Hendrik van den Bergh

Throne of Glass is full of action and mysteries.

The 18-year-old assassin, Celaena Sardothien, has been given an offer by the Crown Prince to get back her freedom. She must act as the champion of the Prince in a competition, under a different name, with strong opponents sponsored by a member of the council.

She must win the competition and serve the kingdom for 4 years to get her freedom. More than one of the opponents from the competition turns up dead on a cruel way. Celaena tries to figure out who the killer is.

Will she figure out who the killer is, before the killer goes after her?

Celaena become friends with people she never thought was possible. They can be her allies or enemies. She must be careful.

Sometimes you just need to accept the help from people around you. Do not push away the ones that show you that they love you.

The series is for readers that love the Hunger Games and Game of Thrones.

I am excited to continue with the series. Sarah J Maas is a new author to me.

Crown of Midnight is the second installment to the wonderful Throne of Glass series.
