Book Review

Tristan (The Hawks #1)

Review By:Hendrik van den Bergh

Jennie Lynn Roberts is a Debut Author and she didn’t disappoint with her first release, Tristan. Tristan is the first installment to The Hawks series and what a kick off. The story is well-written, easy to read and a page-turner. The setting of the story is interesting and attention driven. I was hooked from the first page.

Tristan has lost everything. His best friend’s betrayal has destroyed him. Hunting down the traitor’s sister, Nim, to have her executed alongside her brother. Nim is not the same girl she used to be. She is al grown up, stronger and more independent.

Nim will do anything to proof that her brother is innocent. She wants to convince Tristan to help her free her brother. Tristan is the opposite of a man she remembered and fell in love with. He has changed so much since joining The Hawks.

Tristan has an obligation towards the King. Will he go against his King’s orders or will he follow his heart?

I loved the journey of Tristan and Nim. The only thing in their way is trust.

We all face difficult decisions in life and are not always sure who to trust. Even the people close to you can betray you.

I cannot wait to continue with The Hawks series. I would recommend Tristan to all the Adult Fantasy Romance Readers.
