Book Review

Where There Be Humans

Review By:Hendrik van den Bergh

Rebekah is a new YA/Fantasy author to me. I loved the idea of the story. Well written, unique and adventurous.

Where There Be Humans is based on the life of Ivy Archer, a sixteen-year-old and one of the best warriors in Gob Hollow. She is half goblin, with no idea what her other half is. She believes that her other half must be human, but she has been told that humans are only fairytales.

Dorian, prince of Gob Hollow, was captured on a mission and Ivy has the chance to show her worth to the king by rescuing him. Knowing that humans are the kidnappers, gives her even more reason to go on the mission.

Going on the mission will lead to answers, uncovering secrets and so much more.

Ivy is a strong and courageous goblin. She is willing to do anything to get the prince back to Gob Hollow.

The idea of humans as fairytales was brilliant. We normally know other creatures to be fairytales.

Readers that love to read about goblins will love the new release by Rebekah L. Purdy.

Official release date: 1 June 2020 – Preorder Now.
